The matter was disclosed recently by the website WalesEye, said they had spoken to a member of staff sports section BBC Wales was discouraged that they are instructed that some things are appropriate to say when they were preparing programs.
"I had a call to say that I would need," explained Paul Rees.
"There was no need explanation because I knew that the WRU has given the BBC under pressure in correspondence alleged bias in the way they deal with the row between the Union and the regions and that the matter had gone upstairs to the lawyers.
"There is no investigation is under way and no one was preventing it from contributing to a BBC program," the statement said. "The impartiality and we will continue to offer a variety of views on this subject bloko in the future."
